What is the difference between throwing and releasing a balloon?

Releasing helium filled balloons is no different than taking those balloons and throwing them into the nature. Even if you throw it into the trash, it might easily get blown out of the trash. But if it doesn’t get blown out it will end up causing more trash somewhere else, don’t you think? Latex balloons are technically biodegradable but they might take years to biodegrade. Think about that, is it worth it? So my suggestions is, don’t buy them at all, what do you need them for anyway? It is stupid!

If you throw a balloon out the window of your car it is called littering and it is illegal but if you fill that balloon with helium and let it go, in a lot of places that is still completely legal.
